about my blogging

I started blogging projects with my students during the year of 2003 and set up my first personal blog in January 2004. Some of the earliest platforms have already disappeared while some I managed to recover through Wayback Machine.

My own blog beespace.net, which was maintained until last year, was erased in an unsuccessful update late September 2024. As I had not backed up the database, there is nothing to be found there and the domain will be dropped. Fortunately, throughout the years I have had several snapshots taken by the Wayback Machine, the last being on September 8th 2024. The blog can be found there for those who might want to have a look at it.

Some of the sites below, which I created with my students or with fellow teachers, were also recovered in the same way as they were open, not on a closed institutional platform.

2006 – 2007:  Bee-blogging from the Tropics : a classroom project of which one part was imported from the ECML blog platform which has now disappeared from the internet and cannot be found through Internet Archive. The outcomes of the ECML project can be found in a publication both in French and English. I have downloaded the English version in pdf format.

2006: Mentor Young Women Caucasus Project (unfortunately not retrieved) but as the Description of Project and my students’blogs which are listed there were not on the same platform, they can still be found.

2005:  The Lizards (beginners)

2004 – 2005:  Beeonline2 – A Meeting Place for Students to Share Opinions and Discuss ( collaborative environment)

2004:  TPE – Echanges/ Ruptures et Continuités (tutoring blog for teachers doing Travaux Pratiques Encadrés at the Lycée International Français)

2003 – 2004: Garibaldi – Breaks, Continuities and Exchanges (teachers’ collaborative planning environment) for students from Brazil and Italy.

2003- 2005 Beeonline – A Meeting Place for Students to Share Opinions and Discuss ( collaborative environment)
